The town is governed by a mayor and board of commissioners, who are charged with maintaining its commitment to preserving community values and fostering local engagement.

Small Town, Big Impact in Innovation Award
It is our pleasure to accept the MidCarolina Regional Council for Local Government Regional Award of Excellence for the category of Small Town, Big Impact in Innovation!
Mayor’s Coalition Announcement
The Town of Falcon hosted the quarterly Mayor’s Coalition on February 6, 2026. The Coalition received updates from Fayetteville Cumberland Economic Development Corporation, Fort Bragg, Fayetteville Technical Community College, Cumbereland County Board of Commissioners Chairman Kirk deViere and each Mayor of the nine municipalities. Breakfast for 50 people was served and catered by Louis Avila and xQuisito, LLC Food Service. They did an outstanding job and breakfast was delicious.
Water Rules
Late fees are now $20 and will promptly be applied on the 21st of each month. Reconnect fees are $50 and it may take up to 48 hrs for reconnection. $75 for same day emergency reconnect. Lastly, Town Hall has limited cash. All cash paying customers are asked to pay with exact change or the understanding that any change may be applied to the next billing cycle.
